The socks do fit well but the heating does not match the advertised temperatures.

The high heat setting is supposed to be 55 degrees celsius (approximately 130 degrees fahrenheit)….

The socks go up to my knee the battery is located in a pouch at the top of the sock.

Price is not at all more after using i can say this, this type of socks are savior not only for ski but when one has to go in snow to clean the car.
