Cons

The product says water area before driving stakes, i let it rain for 2 hours and then went out in the rain to drive stakes in the ground. The plastic cap that comes with them to be hammered into the ground is pretty useless. I understand that this spi...  Read More

Needless to say i’m very upset,…trees are not the cheapest. The only difference is the fertilizer. Item was shipped in a plastic bag only.

Quality

They work reasonably well on mature shrubs quality control questionable relative to effectiveness from spike to spike

Work well once you get them in the ground and are slow release make them even better and very practical

After about 5 stakes the little rubber cap they give ya got ruined so last 5 stakes went into the ground in pieces instead of t...  Read More

My yard has poor soil more like dirt with rocks

Price

Really good price for the amount of spikes

Great price easy to use works great on all my bushestrees

They are not expensive so we will see

And for this price we used one box for both the cherry tree and the rear dogwood its very economical

Packaging/appearance

I should do another round but the spikes were packed up for moving

The box should really be sturdier cardboard and every spike should be partitioned

Competitiveness

Great fertilizer stakes as good if not better than the more expensive brand ive used both and usually by these ive used them in...  Read More

The price was better than whatever brand the local stores carried

You can find welded steel tools that do the job from other companies but jobes should consider providing one

In the front it has a big cherry tree and a red flowering dogwood

In the rear theres a white dogwood

Posted by a reviewer on Amazon

We neglected the aforementioned trees and by mid summer all three were almost bare losing leaves

Posted by a reviewer on Amazon

So last fall we began to use these tree spikes on the back dogwood and the front cherry thinking the front red dogwood would get help from the nearby shrubs being fertilized

Posted by a reviewer on Amazon

We first planted the spikes for the cherry tree last fall

Posted by a reviewer on Amazon

Again it was given the spikes beginning last fall

Posted by a reviewer on Amazon

However we noticed the front red dogwood which we withheld tree spikes from wasnt looking as good as wed hoped so we added tree spikes to it a couple of months ago and already the flowers are looking much better

Posted by a reviewer on Amazon

This year well help them out with a spray or two but hopefully next year well just be needing to do the tree spikes and let nature take its course
