Pros

Timer remote works as a time lapse and bulb exposure controller, but also as a regular remote shutter button. It shoots every fireworks display and every lightning storm that comes through town. Unlike using a cheap ir wireless remote, this remote let...  Read More

Works like its suppose to. Works like a charm as long as there is light.

It is easy and intuitive to set up for timelapses or just a series of automated shots. It's more comfortable in the hands than the squarish ones. This is great for hdr photography when you are trying to reduce ghosting.

On-off switch gives me peace of mind that my batteries will not be drained unnecessarily. Only downside is every time you turn the remote off, it resets the setting you had on it.

Nikon has a cordless one for $500. It has yet to display any flaws whatsoever. The connector and cable are still in perfect shape. My only complaint is the display is a bit hard for me to see.

Cons

No programming, no time lapse, just clicked and held the shutter open. Works great if you want to start the process 10 seconds from now, but anything over a minute and this thing forgets how to count.
