Pros

This applies to all small studio monitors. The speakers are a little big(5. Spring connectors on back for connection. They're small enough to sit on a bookcase without taking up a lot of space.


Cons

Not really a control 1 pro. Sound is mediocre at best. At least the uk site shows the 4 inch woofer belonging to a jbl model control 1 (not pro) kind of like getting a 18 inch pizza with topping only on the inner 12 inches, haha.

    Sounds great but when i bought the pro series as an upgrade from the regular control one speakers i couldnt tell the difference except for a different colored tweeter and jbl badge

    As suggested from other comments i bought a fosi audio amp tda7498e 160w x 2 the result is not so good

    If you listen in front of your desk you do not need a 160w amp actually the fosi audio tda7498e never can reach 160w but still too large i can only turn 10 volume at most and the sound is already very loud
