This sponge filter works the best out of all of the sponges i have used
Filtration and healthy bacteria ate essential for water quality and clarity
My water quality is really poor and this has helped tons in my 5 gallon tank

Sponge picks up particles and debris mostly 1inch long plant leaves and creates a decent amount of bubbles 5 bubblessec

This filter does not allow for good water flow directly underneath the filter so debris might get trapped under there

The tube in the middle that you can use to adjust where the bubbles come out is not very adjustable if it is more then 12 way up it releases from the filter and floats away

We have some delicate fish and an african dwarf frog in the tank and they would sometimes get tossed around in the current with a hangonback power type filter
