My wife has had nothing but good things to say about the machine and the quality seems good.
As i read the reviews, i could see that the quality control of these new machines of all brands was not very good.

The reviews on the janome were excellent and the price was within my budget.

I am very pleased with my new janome sewing machine.
I've even bought a second janome, a jem gold 660, for taking with me when i travel.
I am the happy owner of a janome dc2012 machine and have had zero problems with it.
So, i'm not a rah-rah janome person, but i think this machine will serve me well.

Bought this machine after years of using a husqvarna viking machine which was great but needed servicing and since i brought it from europe, decided buying something new was probably the most cost-effective given the age of the husqvarna.
