I realized when setting it up i had no way to input the audiovideo via hdmi from the fire tv 4k device to the tv but then extract the sound to go to the soundbar outside of less than ideal analog sound connectors ie white and red analog connection

This will work fine to split the audio off of a streaming box or game device but it wont pull the arc audio return channel audio signal off of an hdmi cable out of a television this was my mistake for not paying better attention

It required a lot of adjustments from show to show to get the best sound without clipping and the overall quality was just not good even when the best settings were found

I had contemplated getting a new receiver with hdmi but that would have been several hundred dollars

Super easy to set up never needed to call tech support or anything
