Pros

The zwilliger knife organizer is compact and fits all my kitchen knives. This product meets all my expectations.

Wooden knife tray fits in the shallow drawer dedicated to my previous hodge podge of knives. There is some room on the sides, where a couple of boxes of wax paper and tin foil keep the knife snug into place.

This knife drawer tray is awesome. Everything is so organized that i keep opening the drawer to take a peek!

This rack handily accommodates a 10 henkel and our bread knife with a bulbous shaped handle. I love the way the steak knives snuggle into the upper slots.

Cons

One of the six steak knife slots was drilled badly and wouldn't fit a knife. It was split in half upon arrival, the back piece is glued in place. The design of this knife tray is efficient but the craftsmanship is poor.

It’s high quality construction with nice wood

Organizer takes very little drawer space and is very solid and sturdy too

In the zwilling the blade only touches at the back corner leaving the blade suspended

Even with two i cant fit all my knives i think that means i have more than i reasonably can use

Just a caution to other buyers this may be the slowest shipped item i have ever ordered on amazon

Packaging/appearance

The knife block itself looks great but it was packed in a thin plastic envelope no bubble wrap or padding whatsoever

The outer package was torn and blackened and the knife block was damaged

Competitiveness

There are cheaper knife organizers but id already bought a few zwilling knives so decided to stay with the brand
