I had hoped to overcome apples introduced compromises on processor speed with ios 11 through use of the extra battery but it does not work in parallel with the iphone internal battery so delivers no more peak current

After about 9 months it stopped charging the phone properly

The supplier replaced it free of charge but exactly the same thing has happened to the replacement after the same time so it seems to be a feature not a bug
