This unit is very transparent and still allows feedback to come through. If you purchase high-quality, true-bypass pedals or know how to handle buffering, the decimator ii is well worth the extra money over the ns2.

It feels very sturdy, heavy, and well made. Gorgeous chromed boss style enclosure. Shiny metal finish on the outside is an added bonus.

I get can a beastly aggressive tone that tight and clear without losing my tone. When i’m not sounding notes, my amp is totally silent. I have a tele and the are a bit noisy compared to other guitars i own and this pedal really helped.

    The decay on the gate is timed just right and notes dont get cut off it probably took me all of maybe 30 seconds to find a good setting 20 on the dial and there is no need to change it afterward unless maybe you want a faster or slower attack

    I have an ampeg 50 watt tube amp and when i turned the dial up to about noon this baby cut out all of the noise from my amp at a fairly high volume
