Pros

Heavy duty vice for £28. Great value for money. Great for a workbench. Great vice for the price. Good value for £31.

Added hardwood to jaws using the mounting holes and have been using without issue for several months now. Ignore the comments about misalignment - it's supposed to be like that. Not 100% square but ok for hobby work.

Cons

It comes without fittings, or installation instructions. The jaws of the vice are not parallel to each other. Low quality materials and too flimsy.

Also when the vice arrived some of the paint was chipped off which is annoying but at the end of the day it will no doubt see some abuse so i’m not too bothered

I followed another reviewers advice for the size to make the jaws

If you squeeze between thumb and finger you will not notice any compression but if you wanted to hold some item in the vice and hope to not mark it this would be better than bare wood

Obviously you would need to know someone in the printing trade to get hold of one

I do have a gripe however though i dont know if any other vices avoid this issue

The moving jaw is nice and flat but the stationary one has a recessed section just above the guides

When i gripped something low down in the vice it allowed the wood facing i had put on to twist and pull out the screws holding the wood facing
