I noticed when holding this set at 40 and a 40lb hex dumbbell this weighed significantly more
Third ironmaster dumbbells unlike some of their competitors comes with a very nice stand
Even at a much higher price it would still be worth the money
Given all of the design choices mentioned above you can change each end of a dumbell simultaneously

Its true you do have to fiddle with weight plates but once they are locked down its like the entire dumbbell is one uniform hunk of steel

One thing that i did was buy 1 washers to use for spacing should the problem reoccur

The handle is long but you can glue 2 rings of foam from a piece of pipe insulation at the ends to center your hands if it bugs you

The handles are a little longer than necessary but because of the design they cant be shorter or the pins wont go all the way in when using only one plate
