They snug up and remain snugged. I expect them to outlast my boots for sure.
Cons
That same lack of slide is somehow magically cured when tied in a knot. The color instantly fades on the part you tie.
Company has zero communication and doesn't check when they send out exchanges. No good, slows me down. Painful. Run away. It is really unfortunate.

Ive bought a pair for both of my work boots and as a pair of boots wears out i transfer the laces to the new pair

You see i bought a pair of skechers hikers with metal eyelets and the factory laces broke in the first 3 weeks so i ordered another pair of laces direct from skechers and they broke in 3 weeks while i was on vacation no less so i bought a pair of durable hikers laces from a reputable sporting goods store where we were vacationing and that pair lasted 4 weeks before breaking
