Pros
Ironite makes the grass much healthier and much greener. Easy to apply with a scotts spreader. Can be used with fertilizer.
Cons
Galena is lead sulfide. The granules also have a tendency to clump together and clog up the spreader. Ironite is not what it used to be, now just a mild fertilizer.

Watch to not get on concrete or brick as it will stain

Thatch aeration fertilizer soil testing and all my other attempts had made it a bit healthier but this put it over the top

Even though we have lots of iron oxide in the soil here it does not carry over to the plant life
