After six weeks of getting the runaround from tplink support they finally told me the td8616 modem was at end of life and no longer available

I then filed a claim under the amazon a to z guarantee asking for a replacement modem from the seller stock or a refund for the cost of the modem only

The evenroute iqrouter itself continues to provide relatively fast and reliable internet access and if i were rating only the router it would be fivestar

When i submitted a return request thru amazon evenroute advised the modem is a stock tplink modem and that i should contact the manufacturer directly to request a warranty replacement
