This has an internal resistance that drops the charge voltage from 5v in to 3v out. After about six months of use the usb tip detaches from the cord. I am very careful with electronic devices but these are pretty cheaply made.

Ive purchased and returned 5 pairs of cables from other sellers that claim work for this device as a charging and data transfer cable
