Updated 5 months after purchase i dropped my phone from a second floor apartment and it bounced down stairs and ultimately off the ledge to the next floor all concrete and the case only had a few scratched on it and the phone had zero damage done

Well it make it more secure to hold but i didnt like that dust etc collected there so i had to remove the case for cleaning up the phone

Loved the case unfortunately i dont have a 5s i have the 5c very bummed i have to return it

However just one thing is that i dont think it will protect the screen that great if you drop it due to the fact the case is thin and its flush to the same level as the phone

Sturdy case easy to hold glass screen protector is really nice

I still feel unsure about how well itll protect from shattering in falls though since theres not much of a lip coming over the front of the phone
