The plastic casing used to be much larger， making it difficult to charge your phone without taking your case off

They fixed that problem this charger is sleek and not much wider than the actual lightning connector

Most other nonapple cables only work a week or so， but this is performing like an apple original without the outer jacket fraying as the apple cable usually

Don t think they will fray at the lightning connector like the little apple ones do
