It is two pieces and right at the six month mark the outer hard plastic ring cracked when i dropped my phone on the tile floor

It stayed on for about another week but then it was a little loose so it cracked by the volume buttons

The plastic bezel ring on the outside of the case grew brittle over time and started cracking near the charging plug location within the first 6 months

I limped it along even after the ring broke all the way through on both sides of the charger port

Without having been dropped or misused the plastic ring simply split apart

The crystal clear flexible casing did not stay that way

It was clear when installed but over time it has darkened to a smoke color
