I actually used a metal plate on my first one and although i was able to squeeze it in between the phone and the case it ultimately destroyed my case

I very rarely ever dropped my phone so the case held up great but had to be replaced about once per year due to the thin areas around the phones buttons which i feel is acceptable for a thinfit phone that is less than 10

She does wear through screen protectors a little faster than i since there is no cover on the bottom of her phone

This allows more surfaces in her purse and pocket to rub and pry the bottom edge of the screen protector off

Also the red cover is slippery
