Purchased april 2016 edge and corner along power button have broken off and another corner is cracked and about to break off so no longer offers much protection

The sides are a hard rubber and very easy to grip it fit my phone perfectly and allows access to all buttons and ports

Usually if the back is made of something different then the plastic around it feels flimsy

Of the 30 or so phone cases i have this is the second one to ever have such a strong sturdy plastic around the edges

I dropped the phone today about 4ft onto walmarts hard floor and it didnt affect the case or the phone
