However i have kept the phone pretty scratch free yet the few times i have hit the screen with my nail or something in my pocket the screen protector does its job yet was damaged easier than i thought would occur

You need a screen protector on your phone and every single one of the dry apply ones will have a bunch of air bubbles and corners that dont stay down
