The stand does not close or open smoothly

Once put together it’s pretty hard to get it back apart

I did have an issue getting the top part of the hard plastic insides of the case to clip together at first which caused the top part of the silicone portion to stick out due to a piece of silicone that is meant to fit inside an opening in the plastic part
