    But if you need to push 2+ ssd's at the same time for whatever your usecase is, you'll want to use onboard sata3 if it's available on your system.

    I cloned and connected the ssd to the #1 sata port, move the hdd to the #2 sata port, and put this card in the pcix1 slot and put the sata cable from the optical disc drive from the motherboard's #2 slot into this card, then powered everything back up.

    Yes, i know software raid isn't as safe as hardware raid but raid 5 adapters are to expensive for me.
