Pros & Cons

Pros

We hardly ever use a knife as this dispenses a perfect pat of butter every time. You just have the butter chilled, slice, and he then puts the individual slices in a row in a dish. One handed butter slicing.

Well made, and is a convenient size for storing in the fridge. It also seals so that left over butter will stay fresh. Just don't leave it out of the frig more than 15-30 min.

Cons

Such a great gadget, but poorly designed. The holder's hole isn't wide enough. When you push on it to slice the butter, it always gets stuck so that you have to pull the leaver back out.

I love this thing and over the past couple months of use its held together very well too

Being able to cut a pat of butter in a moment rather than cutting it by hand with a knife is so much easier

No more messy open sticks of butter with crumbs on them in the fridge

Gone are the terrible mornings of dragging out a butter knife to complete the chore of slicing butter
