This tool saves you money in many ways. It draws its power from the plug/car battery. It saves $$$. It spares trip to the auto store and saves money from having mechanic charge $100 to read the code so one will know what the issue with the car is.

It lacks some features available with more professional-grade readers but beats them with its cost. Would definitely recommend it to anyone.

Cons
Will not power on in either my 2000 dodge ram or my 2016 kia soul. Not sure if i'm doing something wrong, if it's defective, or if the problem is with my car’s system. Sent message to ozzy thru amazon and thru facebook and no response after 3 days.
Snap on modis scanner takes too much time to set up*. This toy of a scanner is not for me.

But having corrected the problem means no more cel and that means no use to me for this device until the next cel which may never occur

I have to look up the prius codes on google because the codes are different for it than other toyota models
