Larry coarreia is a gun expert and goes to great lengths to show his expertise. I'm not a gun person - the entirety of my knowledge and understanding comes from playing fallout and doom - so my eyes tend to glaze over at the loving descriptions.

The book is full of clichés and clichés.

This book mixes fantasy of a socially troubled teen who masturbates to gun magazines, with cartoon logic. This book seems to have come from the musings of a pubescent boy. It's tied together with a pathetic, loathsome main character.

There'll be no character development here, just a bunch of manliness. The near-nonexistent use of contractions in both narration (by the rough, gruff pov character) and dialogue (from everyone) is terribly jarring.
