I really like this product. It's not perfect, but it definitely gets the job done if there are no outlets around. I actually got a chance to use this on a camping trip and managed to charge a 12000 mAh battery in about 12 hours. I just left it out in the sun on a bench and let it work its magic. Luckily it was really sunny that day so it really helped to charge it faster. When the conditions are cloudy this thing doesn't tend to do that well. As far as charging your phone directly, I wouldn't recommend it, because it won't be a consistent charge and your screen might flash on and off just struggling to get a consistent charge.If I'm really honest, this was a total impulse buy and I believe this technology will get both infinitely cheaper and more efficient. In my opinion, unless you plan on doing a lot of outdoors activities where there won't be a power outlet around, you really don't need this.As far as the product goes, I'd say it was well made but it still isn't perfect.  Read Less
