I understand and still haven't tried the more powerful 3/4 hp insinkerator garbage disposal should help.

Had this model for 18 years when the blades broke off.

The original disposal died just after purchasing the house and we installed a brand new badger 3 that lasted \3 years (we were rough on it).

I had it professionally installed only because there was no previous disposal and i wanted the plumbing to be 100% correct.

If you're lucky these will last 10 years exactly what the warranty is.

Old one was same model, but only lasted three years

Kudos to insinkerator for not changing the outflow location in the five years since we had the first insinkerator installed; this way, swapping them out didn’t affect any of the other plumbing.

This was an exact replacement of mine that started leaking from the seals (14 years old).
