Pros & Cons
Pros
I really like the digital setting and blinking that tells you it is currently heat (solid light says it is at temperature) warmed the neely filled with cold water queen bed in just a few days and keeps it nice and toasty. The flashing display makes yo... Read More
The digital controls are precise and do not float with time. Love this heater.
Cons
Back andamp; this is a back & forth every couple of minutes. The controller is great, until the pad fails! It is very slow to maintain the temperature compared to the halcyon unit.
Worked like a champ for 8 months and died. All die within a couple months. Cant reset. They never tell you that it is prorated after 2 years.
Highlights
Quality
Rally like our new water bed heater especially with the temp settings
This has worked great for the past 2 weeks and i could not be happier with the digital display
It did not stop flashing and i put a 34kill a watt34 meter inline with the unit and set the meter to read amps
Competitiveness
Use warm water to refill you waterbed if you can a 300w heater maintains heat well but doesnt heat cold water very quickly
Ive been sleeping on a hardside freeflow waterbed since 1982

It did not stop flashing and i put a 34kill a watt34 meter inline with the unit and set the meter to read amps

It showed the amps cycling from 0 to 2

What i discovered was when i set the temperature to 88℉ the display started flashing at a faster rate and the 34kill a watt34 meter held at 2

So the temperature must have been very close to 86° when the display was flashing at the slow rate and by raising the set point to 88° changed the duty cycle of the unit
