Pros

The rpi is ready for a big ssd using the usb 3 ports and to be a server of files. It far surpasses the hdd i had in it before. Cooupled with the upgraded 16gb of ram, both units perform like new!

It works as advertised. Came as intended. They work perfectly!



Cons

Not even a quarter of the advertised speed. Seems to drop below mechanical drives speed, into sd/usb flash drive speeds territory. Yes, it's somewhat cheap.

    When attaching the ssd cover plate for my laptop the drive fell short about 38 of an inch and was not being picked up by the computer so i had toinsert the ssd first so that it would go all the way in and then i was able to attach the cover plate

    This is about twice as fast as the oldfashioned physical spinning hard drive
