The bass is snappy and not overdone the midrange is where these earphones come out and play very nice and really shine to me

About mei tend to prefer a relatively neutral sound signature with a slight emphasis in both bass and treble which is basically a mild u shaped sound signature where midrange frequencies are left intact and unaffected
