Im convinced it was damaged in shipping because from a build perspective this thing is solid
Apparently something heavy fell onto the top of the shipping box and crushed one side of it
I knocked one off for the minor shipping damage

It seems to be more ruggedly built than some of the competitors similar compressors that i looked at
From the manufacturer 12inch cast iron balanced flywheel
Initial setupthe compressor has a short power cord so once i got it placed in my garage with a 20ft 15a extension cord
Have little doubt itll last for 20yrs or more wproper maintence

The garage mate kept kicking off the circuit breaker and leaked air big time from the regulator shaft

The only thing that is flawed is the water petcock drain on the bottom of tank is too close to the ground and tuff to open and close to release condensation

First the petcock tank drain on the bottom of the tank is virtually useless because it is too close to the floor
