Because its just standard usb that adapts to apple or android

One thing i did notice is that if i dont use it for a few days it loses some of its full charge

I didnt use it for about a week or so was fully charged but when i went to use it it only had 2 lights

It does last a while though so cant really complain or maybe i just got a defective one
