It's actually a shame that these songs were released on just another best-of-album.

Most of the re-recordings are quick knockoffs done because the original artist got screwed in the royalty deal.

Typically, they are done by one member of the original band (the one who has the license) and are done cheaply by using 21st century tech instead of expensive things like .

This album was different - roy's wife felt roy's wonderful music would find a new audience using better recording techniques.
