It also has a replaceable fuse just in case the fuse blows hopefully that never happens

However this device is a bit bulkier than i would have hoped and the length might make it unusable in some cars that have the 12v port near a cup holder or similar item nearby

Some people may not like the oily feeling rubberized plastic i dont mind and in any event it was put there at extra cost to make the unit feel higher quality so i certainly wont hold it against them

At 5v it measured a bit over 2000mah

The internal battery is supposedly 3000mah at 3

Since a 10 loss is totally reasonable for a boost converter i think we can conclude that the internal battery is probably asadvertised

Figure another 10 loss as you charge your phone since the phone needs to convert back to 3
