The corners/edges of the bracelet are somewhat smooth (not rough to snag/poke a fabric).

Depending on how much slack you have , it could be a challenge to snap the fitbit versa on the charging cradle.

However, you can un-loop the bracelet from the other end to fully expose the back of fitbit versa.

The watch band that comings with the watch i'm sure wouldn't last for along period.
