I dont think you can record with the dvr while in this case when ive tried the recorder and other buttons on the dvr front can be activated causing the recording to be interrupted

It has space for the adapter plug if you curve the end of the plug into the bottom

Would be better if it had a small pocket for the extra sd card that i purchased or a place to hook up the ear buds wo removing from the case
