Pros
Wires plug and unplug, no electrical soldering or similar needed. The instructions are almost perfect. Point here, real person, and a knowledgeable person. More on than off). Easy to read directions as well.
This board is a backup for the original thermostat. I was going to apply anti oxidation compound to all of the connections and ordered this board as a backup.
Cons
With the fan on, i hear the heater start, then at the instant the ignitor ignites the gas and turns off off the gas shuts off too. Seems this particular model board does have an issue with running the fan continuously while heating.

Our hvac service tech said he couldn't figure out what was wrong with my goodman unit.

He said it could be the control panel but there's no way to get a new one for a unit that old and besides, it would be unwise to spend such a large amount on an old unit - maybe $700.

I decided to look for a control panel on amazon and found this replacement for less than $100.

One day the fan would turn on but not the igniter/blower, the next day the blowers would turn on for a few seconds then shut off.

This was a very easy install, literally unplug and replug one wire at a time.
