Cons
The book appears to attempt to copycat james rollins, but it’s an ersatz product. The author becomes bogged down in detail. What a waste of my kindle battery charge.
Any hopes of a good story are marred by the lack thereof. The author uses so many cliches and one-sided characters. None of the characters are likable, with the protagonist being an outright shrew.
The archaeology is also a mess and doesn't line up with any of the geological or archaeological facts stated in this book. Granite is an igneous rock, not a mineral or a gem. Neither are the bits dwelling on the park rangers, the seals, or the preside... Read More
