Pros & Cons
Pros
This valve works great with my tankless wh. Mine is 1/2 inlet. Makes installing tankless water heaters a snap. These are a must if you intend to do the regular flushing and maintenance.
Cons
The release pressure was supposed to be 150 lbs. I'm not a master plumber but i have years of experience and believe the threads are just defective. I believe this is a manufacturing problem vs an installation problem.
Cheap *. But definitely not. Instant garbage. Luckily it's in a crawlspace and not in my house.

When my first tankless hot water heater crapped out on me i called my home warranty company and they sent someone out
Posted by a reviewer on Amazon
They denied the claim and told me i needed to have these installed by a plumber
Posted by a reviewer on Amazon
So i called and not knowing what these technically were found out that these are service valves and must be installed by plumber and must be up to code in order for the home warranty to fix this

I dont see the point of having these up to code its as easy as just twisting them onto the machine and putting plumbing lines on it
