The bad as others have posted there is a problem with the fittings that connect to the existing water line

The white lower fittings shown in the product photo are not the fittings in the kit

The package fittings are made to accept a 12 inch water line that is push to fit meaning that one simply pushes the existing 12inch water line into the fitting its a product made by dmfit called a union connector and while that may be a good connector it wont match the instructions which call for a barbed fitting

The fix go to hardware store and buy two 12inch female fittings with a barbed tail to fit your existing water line
