My betta seems happier and much more active and is eating more, so i believe the heater is making a positive improvement. Hate to get up twice during the night and check on it and make sure my betta hasn't been cooked alive.

Cons

Room temp = 70 aquarium temp = 73. Ordering a heater with a thermostat, this one is garbage.

Very disappointed with this product. Do not buy. Don't waste your money on this item.
