    I admit: prior to my developing a disability, whenever i saw someone using the traditional zimmer frame style walker like this, my thoughts were not charitable.

    I spent a week or so in rehab hell after surgery and was surprised, if not shocked, to learn that the staff didn't really teach patients how to get the maximum use out of their zimmer frame type walkers (or any other walkers, for that matter).

    I don't know if he traditional bare aluminum walkers could be used for all the purposes my hugo serves: many of those generic zimmer walkers look flimsy.
