If one is looking for a good portable zafu, this is it. Has carrying loop handle. Enables you to carry it easily as well.

Fabric is sturdy (although it smells a little plasticy, so i'm assuming it just needs to air out a bit) it's chock-full of buckwheat hulls! Cleans up use a lint brush for hair and dust, dump the hulls into the grocery sack and machine wash for stains.... Read More

I prefer the husk filled cushions over the kapok or cotton. Zipper allows you to let out filling and adjust firmness. Also, unlike the stuffed variety, this one is pretty heavy.

Cons

It has bugs all through it. Very disappointing. As an expensive gift it is not okay to ignore this defect. Real big shame.
