There is also a screw at the top to tighten the stand to the pole, no need to super tighten it. The part that slides onto the pole to hold the laser has a lever to lock it too the pole. The one slight issue i saw with this is when the lever was out, r... Read More
It assembles well. It takes some thinking to do it the first time. They it is automatic from muscle memory. Also everyone that sees it gets tool envy.
Cons
One of the legs of the tripod no longer stays connected to the top collar. You have to secure to the ceiling because the legs will not stay locked. When you clamp the legs they still move up and down.
Customer support is absolute garbage. Rep kylin was only trying to pacify me in hope that return date would expire with amazon. Replacement has same rip/tear as previous picture, and zipper is jammed.

As a home owner that does remodeling and outdoor grading these huepac products work well and priced where it’s affordable
In my opinion it is the best solution for the money
I made the mistake of trying to save money and buying a 40 tripod that maxed out at 72” for my laser level
Other then that unit is a good value

Tripod arrived damaged in shipping but huepar customer service resolved by sending a replacement part
Customer service sent a replacement and have not had any problems with the new one
Packaging/appearance
Its good but packaging could be much better
Competitiveness
Construction is a lot better than its competitors with all aluminum threaded inserts and not plastic like fastcaps laser jamb
I have not used the tripod but it appears to be a great alternative on higher ceilings
On any given day one brands offering will be cheapest so be sure to look at the 34similar34 links amazon provides

It comes with attachments to protect the surfaces if you do it floor to ceiling

It seems pretty strong however a couple parts are plastic so once i get the level in i will hopefully give an update on this tripod

Blows away using a tripod or wall brackets

Generally i use the system without the tripod because working in the confined space of a closet does not work well when using the tripod
