I have owned three other smart watches, the latest being the Samsung Gear S3 Frontier and the biggest complaint I have with all of them is the battery life. watching the battery through out the day was a pain. My requirements for a smart watch are simple:1) At least a week of battery life2) Provides notifications of emails, text messages and news headlines3) Aesthetically pleasing to me4) Priced around $2005)Fitness AppsThe watch has features that I would not use i.e. sleep tracking, stress test, music player, ability to answer a phone call. Then there are features that are not available that some people consider important i.e. ability to respond to messages, NFC payments, ability to download and use 3rd party apps, many more watch faces available and other stuff but are not a requirement for me, especially at the expense of battery life.The watch does have a heart rate monitor, which I compared to the heart rate monitor I use when cycling and the numbers where within 1-2 beats per minute of each other.If you want a smart watch that has all of the bells and whistles, than you probably will be disappointed in this watch, but if you want a physically appealing watch that does what I consider basic stuff well, then this a watch you should consider this watch.In closing, I determine my requirements for a product, then seek out products that advertise that they meet those requirements. I do not mark a product down because it does not possess a feature or function that was not part of the product description.Oh one other thing, I have a Samsung Note 8, in addition to the Huawei Health app, I needed to download and install Huawei Mobile Services on my phone in order for the watch to phone bluetooth connection to work, this information was not included in the instructions that came with, I did a google search after spending a hour attempting to get the connection to work.  Read Less
