The metal loop on the handle allows it to be hung up in her kitchen area.
This little whisk is perfect for smaller amounts of ingredients, like a single egg or salad dressing for two. It's perfect for whisking ingredients in smaller bowls. Great for breakfast and dessert prep.

The handle fills with soapy water through holes in the handle. Fills with * dish water and then the structural end cap falls out.

While i like the size of the whisk part the handle is too short for using in a glass or coffee mug which is what i wanted it for

That said when you wash it it does hold water in the handle so please make sure to shake upside down or otherwise let is drain upside down after it comes out of the dishwasher

Alternatively i find if you put it in the dishwasher with the metal prongs facing down it doesnt fill up the handle obviously
