Fully pull it out and general recoils ok

You simply pull the hose to the desired length wait to hear for the 4 clicks and then stop pulling

To retract you simply pull until the clicks have finished and then gently feed the hose back into the reel

Arrived early easy to fit and easy to operate i would say that the water pressure is not as strong as my old hose but it is ok

The hose has an internal moving guide which distributes the hose evening across the reel when automatically rewinding

I store mine in the garage when not in use as it only takes 10 seconds to disconnect and dismount

Come the winter i simply lift the reel off the mounting and put it inside the garage where it will not freeze
