Hoya hmc filters were highly rated in several independent reviews. Sure the nicer brands are better but at what cost? For my money.

Fake version was noticeably dirty didn’t have philippines stamped on outside surface and had some different construction

Another reviewer mentioned that if you are using these for protection as i am it doesn’t really make a difference but you could have just bought the cheaper 5 dollar uncoated version in that case
